WALLKILL GOLF CLUB EVENTS & OUTINGS
At Wallkill Golf Club in Franklin, NJ, you can choose to participate in our Club Tournaments. They are competitive and fun - all levels are welcome!
Club Tournaments
- Club Championship – Non-handicap event for the club championship
- Flight A Handicap – Lower handicap members, match player championship
- Flight B Handicap – Higher handicap members, match play championship
- Member / Member – Par handicap tournament
Most Improved Player is awarded every year to the player who shows the most improvement during the season.
Events
The Club runs a full set of outings for members and guests, which includes a golf outing followed by dinner and awards.
- Cross Country Outing – The course is reconfigured to create an interesting and challenging course. Foursome compete in a scramble format for prizes and as always, bragging rights.
- Ice Bowl Outing – Our most attended event of the year. Played the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The outing is played in all conditions including sub-freezing weather, high winds and snow flurries. All foursomes compete against the field and the weather in a 4-ball scramble for prizes and bragging rights.
Leagues
Enjoy weekly 9-and-dine events with prizes and awards at the end of the season. Open to members and guests. Enjoy the game and making new friendships!
